I am a huge book worm and try to read whenever I have time, which is usually late at night before I go to bed, on weekends, or on breaks. I recently found that I was short on books to read, which led me to research on Google novels that would appeal to me. Because I am a sucker for romance movies, I mainly looked for that genre of novels. I recently got a few novels in the mail along with a few that a friend let me borrow, and I want to share them with you.

1. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green - I have read this book around three or four times, and it is still my favorite novel. It is a story about two teenagers who do have cancer, but it focuses more on the blossoming love story between them and how their world changes because of that as they also go through ups and downs due to their illnesses. It is a great read anywhere and anytime, and will always make you tear up by the end.
2. Let It Snow - This novel consists of three holiday stories written by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle, and they all connect together to form the perfect Christmas novel. From a snowstorm that turns a town into a romantic area, a hike from a stranded train that takes a positive turn, or how a visit to Starbucks and the Waffle House leads back to true love, all three stories create a perfect romance novel that leaves readers an emotional wreck, wishing they could read more.

3. Paper Towns by John Green - When Quentin meets Margo, they become close, despite originally getting to know each other from afar. However, when Quentin arrives at school to discover that Margo has unexpectedly become a mystery, he finds many clues that are for him. In following the clues Quentin discovers that the closer he gets to the end the less he knows Margo, the girl he thought he knew everything about.
4. On The Fence by Kasie West - A romance novel, On The Fence introduces the life of 16 year old Charlotte (Charlie), who has been raised by her father and three older brothers. Because she was raised in a male household she knows more about how to outrun and outscore every boy she knows in sports than how to act like a girl. However, when she finds herself working in a boutique to pay off a speeding ticket she finds herself surrounded by makeup, crop tops, and skirts. And to top it all off, she begins spending time with a cute boy who likes her for someone she is not. However, that is not Charlie's biggest problem. She's falling for Braden, her best friend and neighbor.
And she doesn't know what to do about it.
5. Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson - Taylor has fallen into the habit of running away from her problems. However, when she gets taken to their old lake house in the Poconos, Taylor has to face all the problems she left behind there, and can't run away this time. In facing her former best friend and reuniting with her first crush, the summer holds the possibility of forgiveness and maybe even love. Taylor wants to continue making her summer count, but knowing it will eventually come to an end makes her question whether she should continue embracing her summer or leave once again with unfinished business.
