5 Things I Learned From My First Year of College

You know that phrase,  "College is the best four years of your life" ? I am sure you do, since you have probably heard it hundreds of times by adults. Many middle and high school students look forward to college; after having this phrase told to them by numerous adults, they begin to believe it themselves. In a sense, college could be the best four years of your life. You have a lot more freedom, you are getting to pursue a degree in something you are passionate about, and most importantly, college is the place where you are able to discover yourself and who you truly are. What I Eat for Breakfast

To me, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. What you eat for breakfast will give you energy for all your daily activities, and keep you going throughout the entire day. So many teenagers and even adults are seen telling their friends that they only managed to eat a granola bar for breakfast or even worse, skipped breakfast altogether. Those decisions are totally unhealthy. Breakfast is the meal that provides you with energy to keep you productive throughout the day, and without it, you will find yourself feeling tired and sluggish midway to the end of the day. It is important to have a breakfast high in protein and fiber, as that will keep you full for a couple of hours, at least until lunch time. Having a healthy breakfast instead of sugary cereals or just a cup of coffee is better for your overall health as well.
