So, I have had my blog for about 5-6 months now, and I realized that in all my 31 posts, now going 32 with this one, I have never made a post explaining how I got hooked onto this whole idea of blogging. So, this post is dedicated to talking all about that.I decided to start blogging after an adult brought the topic up. As an aspiring journalist who loves writing along with the art of photography and what not, I thought hm.... maybe blogging would be a good idea. So, sometime in October or November of 2013 I created my first blog account on blogger.com. Now I posted my first post expecting to not get many readers, but as I continued posting weekly, my amount of readers jumped up to the hundreds, and is now in the thousands, continuing to grow every single day.
Blogging has now become part of my life, and I wonder how I have lived many years of my teenager life without having a blog to write all my feelings and emotions and post it online. Having a blog is fantastic; you can spend more time on the computer but for a good cause, because you are writing, not watching TV or playing games. I have recently found myself sitting in my bed just about to go to sleep when I suddenly remember that I need to post a weekly blog update, so I excitedly grab my computer and type to my heart's desire in my bed, then finally go to sleep knowing that whatever I posted will be read with a smile and possibly even a few laughs.
My blog doesn't have one focus, it covers all the basics that me, a teenager, wants to be covered. It follows my inspirations, cooking and baking, things I love to do, my emotions, heartbreak, etc. and I know that with each of my posts, someone will always be there to read my article and support me.
The idea of knowing that someone is always there impatiently waiting to read your next blog post is what makes the idea of blogging so fantastic. Knowing that you can turn to your blog after a rough or terrific day to write out all of your feelings is what makes this so fantastic. Many people think that because I am a teenager my blog will be focused on completely cliche topics and will be completely stuck up and immature, but to be honest, it is the complete opposite of that. Sure I occasionally post an immature article about my favorite kids movie, but in the end, blogging is all about having a good time while being able to incorporate my love for writing.
