22 Jump Street

I just got back from seeing the movie 22 Jump Street with one of my friends, and lets just be honest, it was even better than the first movie, 21 Jump Street. The movie was hilarious from the start, and for the entire hour and 49 minutes, I was laughing nonstop with everyone else in the theater.

The first movie, 21 Jump Street, features Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum), who are cops that go back to high school disguised as high school students. Once in school, their job is to seek out the dealer of a drug that has been spreading around the school.

This second movie, 22 Jump Street is basically the same plot, except Jenko and Schmidt go to college. But once in college, they both realize that they are going their separate ways, which makes them question their partnership.

When the movie was starting, my friend whispered to me that this movie was "even better than the first one" which raised my expectations as the first scene approached. But the movie met my expectations; I was laughing within the first 5 minutes of the film.

22 Jump Street was, I believe, even better than the first film. The directors, actors, and actresses took it to a completely different level, with more stunts and comedy. After its release date on June 13, it automatically jumped up to become the number one movie in the box office, beating out How to Train Your Dragon 2, and earned $60 million, a 65% increase from the release of the first movie, which earned $36.3 million.

22 Jump Street was the second movie to have the largest opening weekend, as The Hangover Part II took first with an earning of $86 million. Even a week after release date many people are still going to see this movie, and are even going back for their second or third time, not being able to get enough of the comedy. The first movie was fantastic, but this one really stepped it up and brought a whole new twist to the plot, making it even more appealing to audiences around the world.

Book Recommendations

I am a huge book worm and try to read whenever I have time, which is usually late at night before I go to bed, on weekends, or on breaks. I recently found that I was short on books to read, which led me to research on Google novels that would appeal to me. Because I am a sucker for romance movies, I mainly looked for that genre of novels. I recently got a few novels in the mail along with a few that a friend let me borrow, and I want to share them with you. 1. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green - I have read this book around three or four times, and it is still my favorite novel. It is a story about two teenagers who do have cancer, but it focuses more on the blossoming love story between them and how their world changes because of that as they also go through ups and downs due to their illnesses. It is a great read anywhere and anytime, and will always make you tear up by the end. 2. Let It Snow - This novel consists of three holiday stories written by John Green, Maure...

Dairy-free Banana Bread

From the end of 2019 to now, I have been really into baking breads. Out of the ones I have made, making banana bread and pumpkin walnut bread have been my top favorites. One of the first banana breads that I made was utterly delicious! However, because I like to share my baked goods with others, particularly my boyfriend, I went on the hunt for a dairy free recipe. My boyfriend is lactose intolerant, and I wanted to bake something that both he and I could enjoy. So, upon coming upon this recipe during my search online, I made a loaf last night and it was so delicious I had to share it on the blog. Here is the recipe! Photo from Google Images Ingredients: 4 very ripe bananas 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 1/2 cup canola oil or coconut oil 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 2 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp sea salt Steps: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
